Fort Worth Trap and Skeet (FWT&S) Policy for Youth Teams / Coaches For Practice at FWTS, sanctioned tournaments are exempt:
A. All youth organizations must submit organization documentation with record of insurance.

B. All shooters (18+) years old or parent/legal guardian for those under 18 years of age must sign a FWT&S liability waiver to use the club.

C. Teams / organization must be club members in good standing. One team coach must be a member of FWTS.

D. Organizations / team leads ensure coaches have been background checked (annually) and provided documentation to FWT&S. Approval from parent organization is acceptable.

E. All coaches working with youth teams are required to provide proof of National level certification (NSSA, NSCA, NRA). This becomes effective after the first offering of this training by FWT&S, Approved coaching training from the parent organization is acceptable.

F. Insurance policy needs to cover both coach and student(s)

G. Team / Organization leads are responsible for ensuring parental approval for youth to participate in shotgun sports has been documented.

H. Team practices times are to be reserved with club manager for (Monday or Tuesday nights after league and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon / evenings only. Saturday and Sunday is available as long as no events are going on at FWTS. Other times may be authorized at the club manager's discretion based on field usage by members.

I. No single youth organization or team can utilize more than 1 field per team in a training session without advanced permission.

J. Reserved training times will be posted to the club website/newsletter for member planning purposes.

K. Youth teams must have at least one adult coach (18 yrs. +) per field with them during team practices. Subject to parent organization rules for 1 coach per X number of shooters.
